Both games share simple graphics with the reels resembling a physical slot machine in a land-based casino. The background is also the same, with an unsharp picture of people playing on other slots in the far background. All paylines in MegaXPlayer are 3 symbols long, meaning that all wins contain no more and no less than 3 symbols. Playing on 3 reels gives you 5 paylines, becoming 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 when playing on 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 reels. To make a win, you'll need to land the same symbol type on any of the paylines going left to right, starting on reels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 with all reels active. You can play the game on all devices such as mobile phones, notepads, and desktop computers.

The lower-paying symbols are orange, plum, pear, and bell, giving you 8X the bet for a win. The medium-paying symbols are strawberry, grapes, watermelon, and 7, paying 16X the bet. Select Game

Wild Multiplier Symbol

The Wild Multiplier Symbol only appears if you're playing the Super Stake. It can land on all reels except the leftmost and rightmost ones, and it substitutes all symbols and multiplies any win it takes part in by either 2X, 3X, 5X, or 10X. Landing 3 wilds on a payline will pay the same as a win containing the white and blue star: 40X the bet.

Star Symbol

The Star Symbol is a see-through star with a white frame that shouldn't be mixed up with the highest-paying regular symbol, the white and blue star. The Star Symbol doesn't land on its own on a position; it appears on top of any of the 4 lower-paying symbols. Landing a win with one of the lower-paying symbols containing stars will award a special star prize. The star symbols can also be used in making wins with regular symbols. A winline containing star/plum, plum, and star/plum will pay the same as a regular win with plums. The Star Symbol has been used in many other of Stakelogic's retro slots like Mega Runner and Up4Timer. If you haven't seen it before, its use can seem a little complicated until you get the hang of it.

Stakelogic keeps true to the strategy of releasing highly advanced video slots mixed with basic retro games. MegaXPlayer belongs to the later ones, although it has a few features making it a little more advanced than the most basic games – if you choose to play several games and use the Super Stake. Playing just one game with 5 paylines will give you a game as simple as it could be.

We like the Super Stake and prefer playing the game with it. The feature can affect smaller players, though, since the Min.bet is raised to 2.40. To make really big wins, you'll have to count on landing a bunch of wild multipliers. Stakelogic claims that one can win 198400, which should mean that the max win is 3006X the bet counting on the regular Max.bet. It might very well be that you'll have to use the Super Stake to reach such a win, which would mean that the max win is 1503X the bet. Either way, it's a solid win for a game with low-medium volatility. The RTP of 95.00% is way too low, though; we don't understand why the game developer offers such a low RTP.
