Many movies, books and games have been made about the undercover exotic dancer, so it's to no surprise that Red Rake Gaming has taken inspiration and made their own slot game. Mata Hari the Spy is a 6 reel slot with 6 rows and 80 paylines. It has some amazing features and great payouts that are worth your time.

Founded in 2011, Red Rake has made a true empire by now. Their main focus has always been slot games. They have released some of the worlds' best games and know how to show creativity and quality. Mata Hari is a great theme for a slot game since the designers could incorporate a lot of things into the looks of the game. The game has some pretty good graphics, quite a green background with what looks like a temple.

Although it doesn’t really relate to spies that much, the soundtrack and the bird sounds are quite calming. Some of the symbols in the game include regular lettering crowns, snakes, a few of the dancers’ lovers and Mata Hari herself. The game features a wild symbol, scatter symbol and a special roulette symbol. The design of the characters is very nicely done as expected from the provider. Aside from that, it has great gameplay and some decent payouts. The player can bet a minimum of 0,16 and a maximum of 60 coins per spin. With everything, this game has to offer the player can win up to 8,000x the stake. Considering the features and possibilities that the game offers, the 95,4% RTP doesn’t sound too bad.

Mata Hari the Spy by Red Rake has a lot going on to help the player get the most out of it. The first feature that it offers is the Raining Veils feature where veils fall over 2 reels multiplying the value of the symbols x4.  The scatter symbol is represented by the pink ruby. By landing it 3 to 8 times, the player can multiply the bet from x1 to x50. Another great and random feature is the Mata Hari’s Eyes feature when spy eyes suddenly appear on the reels. If the eyes open 2 spotlights turn 2 areas of 2x2 wild and if they remain closed nothing really happens. Then there is the Spies’ Roulette feature that is activated when 4 roulette symbols appear on the reels. The player then gets to spin the discs of the roulette that are divided into 2 parts. The first shows Mata Hari and her lovers with multipliers that they carry, and the second holds the prizes that can be won.

The game also features a free spins round that is triggered by non-other than a double Mata Hari symbol that has to appear once on the first reel in the 2 central rows and 2 more times on the other reels, so in total 3 times. Depending on how many symbols activate the feature, the player can get from 16 to 144 free spins. The Raining Veils feature is active during the round as well, being triggered at random letting 3 veils fall and multiply symbols x2.
