Introduction to Los Luchadores
Los Luchadores is a casino slot from Big Daddy Gaming that takes us straight into the world of Mexican wrestling (lucha libre). Luchadores are the masked professional wrestlers who are an integral part of Mexican culture. The masks are a major part of a wrestler's identity, representing their persona. Lucha libre is a style of wrestling which is as much about the show as it is about the sport, with every match being a battle between a superhero and a villain. This slot is all about the masks and the action, with the various symbols giving the impression of a fight for the prizes. There are 46,656 ways to win, Free Spins and multipliers to add to the excitement. Just remember, even the best luchador in the world needs a bit of luck on his side.
Theme, Gameplay & Payouts
Los Luchadores is a video slot from Big Daddy Gaming with 6 reels, 6 rows, and 46,656 ways to win. The Min.bet is 0.2, and the Max.bet is 1,000. Los Luchadores has an RTP of 96.00% and a max win of 5,000x the bet.
The game is set on a vibrant wrestling ring against a desert backdrop with cacti, rope fences and some very old-looking stone structures in the background. It seems that the game creators couldn’t help but put some indigenous Mexican culture in the mix. There's a masked wrestler with a big stomach standing next to the reels, ready to go. There are some dark stone blocks and piñata blocks among the regular symbols on the reels. You score wins by landing 3 or more matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting on the leftmost reel. It gives you 46,656 ways to win in a game that can be played on mobile phones, tablets and desktops.
The lower-paying symbols in Los Luchadores are the lightning bolt, cross, star, and fire flame. These symbols pay 0.2x the bet for a six-of-a-kind win. The higher-paying symbols are the blue fighting mask, green fighting mask, purple fighting mask, orange fighting mask, and yellow fighting mask. They pay between 0.3x and 1x the bet for six matching symbols. There is also a Wild Symbol, which substitutes for all regular paying symbols to help complete winning combinations.
Special Features & Slot Mechanics
What is the max win in the slot Los Luchadores?
You can win up to 5,000x the bet.
What features are available in the slot Los Luchadores?
The features are Wild Symbol, Free Spins, and Bet Boost.
Wild Symbol
The Wild Symbol stands in for all of the regular paying symbols, making it easier to form winning combinations.
Cascades
Whenever you make a win, the winning symbols will disappear, and new symbols will be added to the reels. Rock Blocks and Piñata Blocks, which can’t be used to make regular wins, are destroyed if they appear next to winning symbols. A cascade session continues until you can’t make any more winning combinations.
Free Spins
You trigger 5 Free Spins by clearing all the rock and piñata blocks from the reels. Once the Free Spins start, a multiplier is applied to all your wins. It starts at x1 by default, although that initial value can be increased via the gamble or purchase options.
During Free Spins, destroying an orange piñata block will increase the multiplier by +1 to +3. A blue piñata block will give you between 1 and 3 additional Free Spins. If you're lucky enough to clear all the rock blocks and all the piñata blocks in a single spin, you are awarded 5 more spins.
You can also gamble for better starting conditions before the Free Spins start. There are 6 levels to gamble, and each level will improve both the number of Free Spins and the starting multiplier. However, if you lose a single gamble, you lose the entire bonus game and go back to the base game without any Free Spins.
- Level 1: 5 Free Spins with an x1 multiplier.
- Level 2: 7 Free Spins with an x2 multiplier.
- Level 3: 9 Free Spins with an x3 multiplier.
- Level 4: 11 Free Spins with an x4 multiplier.
- Level 5: 13 Free Spins with an x5 multiplier.
- Level 6: 15 Free Spins with an x6 multiplier.
The odds of winning the gamble go up with each level.
Bet Boost
Bet Boost gives you a number of ways to increase your chances of triggering a feature or purchasing Free Spins directly. The options are:
- Bonus Boost: costs an additional 50% on top of your regular bet. Cracked rock blocks fall into the game and are destroyed when they land, which in turn increases your chances of triggering the Free Spins.
- Super Bonus Boost: costs an additional 150% on top of your regular bet. It works in a similar way to Bonus Boost, just gives you a better chance of landing the Free Spins.
- Free Spins Level 1: 5 Free Spins with an x1 starting multiplier cost 40x the bet.
- Free Spins Level 2: Award 7 Free Spins with an x2 starting multiplier, costing 85x the bet.
- Free Spins Level 3: Award 9 Free Spins with an x3 starting multiplier for 140x the bet.
- Free Spins Max Spins: Awards 15 Free Spins with an x1 starting multiplier for 185x the bet.
- Free Spins Max Multi: 5 Free Spins awarded with an x6 starting multiplier, which will set you back 125x the bet.
Final Thoughts on Los Luchadores
Los Luchadores has a very flamboyant theme full of character. The masked wrestlers, the desert setting and the wrestling ring work well, although we would have preferred to see the wrestler in somewhat more modern settings.
The game also has a couple of ideas that make it more interesting than just a plain old slot. The rock and piñata blocks give you an extra objective to work towards during the spins, and the Free Spins feature brings together multipliers with the chance to pick up more spins. We quite like the choice you get prior to the bonus commencing, where you can gamble on a better starting package. However, it’s just for the biggest gamblers since a loss will take the feature away from you.
The 5000x max win is respectable, but far from impressive. The game is overall good for players who like the colourful theme and the bonus rounds, with a few choices to make. It's not the most complex wrestling match you'll ever see, but there are enough elements to it to keep it interesting.
Los Luchadores from Big Daddy Gaming brings Mexican wrestling flair to a slot with 46,656 ways to win and a block-destroying bonus mechanic.
