Another fantasy inspired game has been released by Yggdrasil Gaming and it's safe to say that it's a good one. There are many games out there that carry the same inspiration behind them, but fantasy is, in general, a topic that provides many ideas. Using that to their advantage, they released Lilith’s Inferno, a 5 reel slot, with 4 rows and 25 ways for the player to land a winning combination. With great design and payouts it’s a game worth trying out.
The creators of the game wanted to make something that’s going to appeal to just about anyone. The design of the game and characters has a lot of aspects incorporated in it. The thought of the underworld is scary enough on its own, but the main character Lilith is a tiny and very cute creature.
The game does have a darker theme, but somehow with the color scheme and the cartoon-like characters, it's actually really fun. In the background is, of course, the underworld filled with fire and smoke. The reels are in the middle of a gate made of trees wrapped in rope. The commands are made to look like they are made of stone which is a nice touch. The bonus rounds are even better looking and the player gets to see little Lilith battle on lava. The dominant colors are, of course, yellow, orange and red which spark up the mood.
The graphics are great and the soundtrack is fit for the fantasy battle theme. It consists of dramatic and heroic music that contributes to the scene. Some of the symbols include the card symbols with an interesting design, 4 gatekeepers that Lilith battles, the crown as the wild symbol, and the gorilla as the scatter.
The game has amazing gameplay where the player can bet a minimum of 0,10 and a maximum of a 150 coin per spin. Players can win up to 3,968x the stake which is a very tempting offer. It’s a medium volatility game which is quite good in combination with the 96,4% RTP.
The game also doesn’t lack in the feature compartment at all. The features are very interesting and creative. When it comes to the base game, the wild symbol can be very rewarding at times, since it replaces every other symbol except the scatter.
The free spins are where the real magic happens. They are triggered by landing 3 to 5 scatter symbols. Three will award the player 10-20 free spins, four will be 15-30 free spins, and by landing five the player gets 25-50 free spins.
There is a special VS symbol that when appearing 2 times during the free spins triggers a battle. This is the really fun part of the game where the player gets to fight one of the bosses for Lilith. It’s nothing hard and the player just has to click on the opponent that then responds. If the players' health drops to zero, the battle is over and the free spins continue as they were before. By winning the fight the player gets 2 additional free spins and the component turns into a wild symbol for the rest of the spins.
By landing three gorilla scatters on the 5th reel during the rounds, the player gets 4 additional free spins and a x3 multiplier. If the player collects one or two they turn wild on the final spin to hopefully grant a good payout.
Needless to say, the game has impressed. It has a cute factor and a scary factor as the fantasy that it is. The graphics and design of both the background and characters are great. The payouts are pretty decent as well. From the features to the design, everything is well balanced and fits together, making this one of the better slots out there.
