Having spent some time with King Panther, we just couldn't help feeling that we'd seen this cat before. Bao Pop Games have taken King Tiger Win Booster, given it a new fur coat and sent it back into the jungle as King Panther. The fact is, a change of name and a change of appearance doesn't automatically turn a standard game into a great one, and the experience underneath is pretty much the same. If you were looking for a new game with some genuinely new and exciting mechanics, then this one is likely to leave you wondering.
The Respin feature is the feature of the piece, really, with sticky symbols slowly filling the reels as the blanks get another go at landing something useful. The X10 multiplier can also provide a good boost if every symbol is contributing to a win. They're not necessarily bad features, just not particularly exciting. We'd rather see a genuinely interesting new feature, and it’s pretty lame that the game doesn’t have a proper bonus game.
The 2,500x max win is also a disappointment, although the 96.81% RTP is good, a fair bit above the industry average. The numbers don't really disguise the fact that King Panther is very much a copy of another game. The graphics are fine, but the theme just doesn't do much to set it apart.
