Introduction to Jack
Jack is a casino slot from Wicked Games that takes us back to London in 1888, where a killing spree is about to occur. This game is based on the unidentified killer, “Jack the Ripper”, who was active in the Whitechapel district of London almost 150 years ago. This chilling story has been taken and adapted by Wicked Games into a Halloween seasonal release, and while visually appealing and elicits a great atmosphere, it can feel a bit macabre, as it is based on a horrifying real-life serial killer who was never caught. But we digress, as Jack looks great and can really immerse you into the game thanks to its sound effects, which really help it take it to the next level, with the occasional scream for help, and the slow, but terrifying, footsteps. Incidentally, Red Tiger Gaming also released their own Jack the Ripper-themed slot game only a few days prior, titled Bloody Murder, however, they play quite differently. Here in Jack, we have a pretty simple Wild-centric game, where there are not that many features outside of its From Hell Free Spins, which will leave crime scenes in the form of Sticky Wilds all over the playing grid. So join us back in time in the 1800s as we hunt down Jack the Ripper and big wins, and maybe you’ll hit the max win of 1,500X the bet.
Wicked Games has cooked up a terrifying seasonal release for this Halloween, and if you want to check it out for yourself, then be sure to give the Jack demo a try beforehand.

Theme, Gameplay & Payouts
Jack is a video slot from Wicked Games with 6 Reels, 4 Rows, and 50 Paylines. You can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.25 and a Max.bet of 500. Jack comes with an average RTP of 96.11% and low volatility, making hits happen rather often, but with no big spikes in wins, however, you always have the chance of hitting the max win of 1,500X the bet.
The playing grid is built into a carriage that slowly goes down a dark alleyway, and here stands a woman waiting next to a lamppost, who may just be the next victim. From here, we can hear the heavy footsteps of Jack the Ripper and the screams of his previous victims as we spin away. You can play the game on most notepads, desktops, and mobiles.
The lower-paying symbols are 10, J, Q, K, and A. Creating a win with 6 of the same symbols will pay out 0.8X to 2X the bet. The higher-paying symbols are the various victims, ranging from the yellow lady, green lady, blue lady, purple lady, and orange lady. Landing a win with 6 of the same symbols pays out 3X to 10X the bet. You’ll find a handful of Special Symbols, ranging from Wilds, Sticky Wilds, Scatters, and Scatter Wilds, all of which you can learn more about in the next section.

Final Thoughts on Jack
Wicked Games has previously shown that they can deliver on high-quality releases, and Jack is a bit of a weird case, as its visuals, setting, and theme are all great, but then it comes to gameplay, and it all sort of falls apart. For some, the theme of a serial killer that never got caught may seem a bit weird, but it’s also not the first time we’ve seen media touch on this piece of history, with the novel and film adaptation From Hell, released in 2001, even being the inspiration for the games' Free Spins feature. But is all of the atmosphere and immersiveness enough to keep you spinning for more? Well, to really know that, we should discuss the gameplay in more detail.
Starting with the stats, we have an average RTP of 96.11% and a surprisingly small max win of 1,500X the bet. When it comes to the gameplay loop, we would be lying if we said it was anything less than simple, as all there really is for you to do is form paylines, either naturally or with the help of the Wild Symbols, as that is basically all there is to do in the base game. The Free Spins feature does make it a bit more interesting with the Sticky Wilds, but even with that, it doesn’t really excite us as much as we would’ve wanted it to be. We are actually somewhat shocked at how straightforward this game really is, as Wicked Games delivered on everything else, but actual real features, because as of now, the game isn’t that different from the studio's Fruit Slot releases like Nitro 100. However, even with that negative tone, we still enjoyed our time with the game, but we would probably have stuck around for longer if there was something actually to keep us engaged gameplay-wise. If you'd like to try out this game for yourself, then we highly recommend giving the Jack demo a try.
