Introduction to Grinning Harvest
Grinning Harvest is a casino slot from Trusty Gaming set in a haunted, dead forest, where no mortal dares tread. Backed by Hacksaw Gaming, Trusty Gaming is a new studio to the scene, and has only released a handful of games so far, and this is their first attempt at making a seasonal release, in perfect time for Halloween. Grinning Harvest delivers on exactly what you would expect, and that is a spooky theme, grim colors, pumpkins, and skeletons. On the other hand, gameplay-wise, Grinning Harvest is what many other seasonal releases are, kinda one-dimensional and may be lacking in features for long-term playing. The features that the game brings are a typical Coin Collection, or this time Pumpkin Collection, feature that the game is built around, with Jackpot and Hold-N-Win bonuses on top. That isn’t to say that the game is all doom and gloom, except for the dark and mysterious visuals, as it does come with a juicy max win of 15,000X the bet, which is sure to turn some heads.
The game perfectly sets the mood for some spooky Halloween spins, where there’s no use crying over smashed pumpkins, as they may just hide your next big Jackpot. If you’re looking for something to spin on this coming Halloween, then maybe check out the Grinning Harvest demo.

Theme, Gameplay & Payouts
Grinning Harvest is a video slot from Trusty Gaming with 3 reels, 3 rows, and 5 paylines. You can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.1 and a Max.bet of 50. Grinning Harvest comes with a solid RTP of 96.27% and a high volatility, so the wins may be few but quite big, and maybe even give you a chance of hitting the max win of 15,000X the bet.
Set at the steps of a long-forgotten graveyard in a dead forest, where the only living thing around are the swarms of bats that fly above. From the gravestone looking playing grid, sits an evil smiling pumpkin on, and during the bonus game, the gravestone grows in size, and is taken over by a weird pumpkin-skull mix of a character. You can play this game on most mobiles, desktops, and notepads.
The lower-paying symbols are J, Q, K, and A. Creating a win with 3 of the same symbols will pay out 0.2X to 0.5X the bet. The higher-paying symbols are a pink potion, a goblet, a witch hat, and a book. Landing a Win with 5 of the same symbols pays out 1X to 6X the bet. There’s also Special Symbols, such as Wilds, Scatters, Pumpkin, and Collector Symbols, but more on those in the next part.
Special Features & Mechanics

What features are available in the slot Grinning Harvest?
The features are Wild Symbols, Pumpkin and Collector Symbols, Hold N Win, and Feature Buy.

Wild Symbols
Wild Symbols only show up in the base game to help form winning combinations by being able to substitute for all paying symbols, except Special Symbols such as the Pumpkin and Collector Symbols.
Pumpkin and Collector Symbols
On the 1st and 3rd reels, you can find Pumpking Symbols, which act as a sort of Coin Symbol with bet multipliers ranging from 2X to 10X, and Jackpots ranging from the Mini (25X), Minor (50X), Mega (100X), and Grand (1,000X). However, these payouts can only be cashed in by landing a Collector Vault Symbol on reel 2.
Hold N Win
Triggered by landing Pumpkins on reels 1 and 3, while at the same time landing a Collector Symbol on reel 2. Only Pumpkins and Collectors show up during the bonus game, and all Collectors stay sticky for the entire bonus game. You start off with 3 spins, which will reset each time a new Symbol lands on the reels. During the bonus game, an extra row will pop up at the top of the playing grid, which will spin for Skulls and Multiplier, which can be added to the current Pumpkin and Collector Symbols.

Feature Buy
There is a Feature Buy option to allow you to instantly enter the Hold N Win bonus game for a price based on the current bet.
150X = Instantly triggers the Hold N Win bonus game.
Final Thoughts on Grinning Harvest
Grinning Harvest is this year's Halloween seasonal release from Trusty Gaming, and it’s also their first. Thematically, the game is very different from the studio's previous releases, such as Lucky Multifruit, Sticky Candyland, and Book of Whispers. Because of this, we weren’t sure what to expect when walking into this game, and we still left slightly disappointed. Visually, the game is smooth and looks relatively good, except for the bizarre pumpkin-skeleton mixes that give off an Uncanny Valley feeling. But even ignoring the thing made out of nightmares, the game is quite nice and simple, visually and gameplay-wise, making it very accessible to jump in and spin a few rounds on, which we do appreciate. So, why not move over and discuss this accessible gameplay a bit more.
Starting with the stats, we got an average RTP of 96.27%, and a surprisingly big max win of 15,00X the bet, which we won’t say no to. The gameplay loop here is quite straightforward, as it’s all about the Pumpkin and Collector Symbols, and the rest of the features, barring the Wild Symbols, are there to boost it even more. While you can hit Jackpots and big payouts in the base game, it’s better to do it in the Hold N Win bonus game, as there are ways to grow the wins even bigger through the Multiplier Row. This reason is also why the Feature Buy exists, if you just want to jump straight into the bonus game for some juicy spins, however, we do have to take note that it is surprisingly expensive at 150X the current bet, for a feature that we, even with its Multipliers, deem rather lackluster. But even so, if you’re in a Halloween mood, a max win hunter, or have been possessed by a spirit, you might want to check out the game’s demo.
Grinning Harvest is a slot played on a 3x3 playing grid and is all about collecting Pumpkins for their sweet Cash Values and Jackpots.
