So what about the gameplay? As mentioned in the introduction, this is far from the first Hold & Win release from Octoplay we’ve reviewed. To be honest, they usually follow the same structure with minor changes to the mechanics. Here, the Cash Train Symbols are the main attraction, divided into 4 categories with different values ranging from 1X to 500X the bet. We wish we could’ve collected their value during the Base Game instead of waiting for the Hold & Win to trigger, which would’ve made the experience more favorable. The aim is to trigger the Hold & Win feature with a high-valued Cash Train Symbol, resulting in some substantial wins. While testing the game, we purchased the Super Hold & Win feature via the Feature Buy, which allows only Jackpot Trains to appear in view, offering decent wins and fun animations.
Does this game separate itself from previous releases in the Octoplay Hold & Win category? The answer is: hardly. Although the design and vibe have their charm, the gameplay feels repetitive and without any innovation. The maximum win of 1,205X the bet and a sup-bar RTP don’t make this slot any more attractive, unfortunately.
