We all know that Pragmatic Play has had a certain formula for Megaways releases for years, and that’s why many of these games feel kinda the same. But here, we have a nearly identical reskin of an older game, released nearly 5 years prior. For trying to be an up-to-date, trendy game, it falls pretty flat when the reskinned cat is out of the bag, as it all just feels so artificial. This leads to a weirdly themed game that we don’t think many players asked for, paired with a half-decade-old feature lineup that was great for its time. But even if we remove the theming and features out of the equation, Furry Bonanza Megaways feels like it’s lacking any type of soul just in terms of visuals, as it leans into neon, arcade-like graphics that don’t feel like they belong and just seems like it was the first thing that came to mind, as it was an easy and safe combination. We could go on and on about this, but we think it is enough there, so let us move on to the gameplay instead.
Starting with the stats, as usual, we actually have a pretty solid RTP of 96.5%, but with an okay max win of 5,000X the bet. The game is centered around Wild Multipliers and Tumbles, which makes even the base game somewhat interesting, as the paytable is somewhat in a fine state, which makes almost any Multiplied win, as it can go up to 40X, pay out a solid amount. This is what makes the difference between the base game and bonus game a bit different, as in the base game, you always have a chance to hit a big Multiplier, while in certain Free Spins versions, you can’t, as you’ve instead gone for the additional spins.
