Final Thoughts on Fortune Horse
While we’ve applauded Pocket Games Soft’s recent releases, that, although for being mobile-first, they can actually deliver on some pretty interesting gameplay and great visuals. However, no matter how much we like the racing car driving horse, Fortune Horse isn’t all that interesting in the scope of things, and that’s said even when Zodiac animal-themed games are already pretty barebones and usually feel very much the same from game to game. While yes, we do enjoy the slight, comical twist, it isn’t enough to really tell us that this game isn’t anything but a Year of the Horse release. We don’t want to hate on the game too much, as in a vacuum, the game is fun and looks good, we only wish that Pocket Games Soft would take the extra step to make the game truly stand out in its corner of the playing field. With all of that said, let us move over to talk about the gameplay and features.
Before really diving into the game, we do want to mention the stats, as the game comes with quite a higher-than-average RTP of 96.76%, which is always great to see, and a solid max win of 10,000X the bet. Probably no surprise to hear that this game is all about making paylines, and its features are there only to improve upon them. The 10X Multiplier is arguably the most important one, as it will trigger when all symbols on the playing grid are part of a win, but they don’t have to be part of the same win, which makes it just that bit more consistent and is always a fun feature when you trigger it. Then we have the titular Fortune Horse feature, which can trigger on any spin, and to put it simply, it basically guarantees a win with each spin, and if you can get a couple of additional spins, you’ll be seeing the 10X Multiplier quite a bit. These features are made to work together, and they do that quite nicely. Even though we have some issues with the game’s theme, and that the features are quite simple and very much spin-and-forget, we can’t say that we didn’t have a pretty good time.
