Introduction to Fortune Coins 2
Fortune Coins 2 is a casino slot from TaDa Gaming that comes with a new set of coins in an otherwise very familiar setting. The original Fortune Coins was released in 2025, only half a year before its sequel, and when we checked it out, we felt it was missing quite a bit, as it was basically a glorified Fruit slot with a Coin Collect mechanic and Respins. So, in those 6 months, did the sequel bring the series to a better light? Well, maybe in a slight way, adding new features in the form of Coin Piles, but still delivers the same, monotone red background and fruit symbols on a 3x3 playing grid. TaDa Gaming has quite a fondness for simple Fruit and Coin releases, and Fortune Coins 2 is no different, so join us as we explore a sequel six months in the making, coupled with a new Coin Pile feature and an upgraded max win of 10,000X the bet.

Theme, Gameplay, & Payouts
Fortune Coins 2 is a video slot from TaDa Gaming with 3 Reels, 3 Rows, and 5 Paylines. You can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.1 and a Max.bet of 200. Fortune Coins 2 comes with a higher-than-average RTP of 96.46%, low/medium volatility, and a solid max win of 10,000X the bet.
Just like its predecessor, and a large part of the Fruit slot genre, Fortune Coins 2 is set on a one-colored background on a golden playing grid, filled with Fruit Symbols. Because of this, with very few differences beyond some color gradients and the two new Coin Piles, it can be difficult to differentiate this release from the original Fortune Coins. You can play the game on most mobiles, desktops, and notepads.
The lower-paying symbols are cherries, lemons, oranges, and plums. Creating a win with 3 of the same symbols will pay out 1X to 4X the bet. The higher-paying symbols are grapes, watermelons, BARs, and Bells. Landing a win with 3 of the same symbols pays out 16X to 30X the bet. The Special Symbols are Wilds, Fortune Coin, Jackpot Coin, and Bonus Collect Coin Symbols, but more on them in the next section.
Special Features & Mechanics
What is the max win in the slot Fortune Coins 2?
You can win up to 10,000X the bet.
What features are available in the slot Fortune Coins 2?
The features are Wild Symbols, Cash Coin Symbols, Coin Piles, Lock and Respin, and Extra Bet.

Wild Symbols
Wild Symbols help create winning combinations by being able to substitute for all paying symbols except Special Coin Symbols.
Cash Coin Symbols
There are three types of Special Coin Symbols that work through the Cash Collect mechanic, with two types of Prize Coins and one Collector, and they are as follows:
Fortune Coin Symbols = Lands with a random prize ranging from 1X to 12X, can only land on reels 1 and 3, and need a Collect Symbol to pay out.
Jackpot Coin Symbols = Comes in 4 different versions, ranging from Mini (15X), Minor (25X), Major (100X), and Grand (1,000X), and can only land on reels 1 and 3. Needs a Collect Symbol to pay out.
Bonus Collect Coin Symbols = Can only land on reel 2 and will act as both a Collect and Scatter Symbol, being able to pay out any other type of Cash Prize Coin Symbol, and trigger the bonus game.
Coin Piles
There are three types of Coin Piles, with the first two, the Silver and Golden ones, being available in the normal game, and the Royal Pile only being available when the Extra Bet is active.
Silver Coin Pile = Has a chance to trigger when a Fortune or Jackpot Coin lands on the reels, adding 1 or more Fortune Coins randomly across the reels.
Gold Coin Pile = Has a chance to trigger when a Bonus Collect Coin Symbol lands on the reels, adding 1 or more Bonus Collect Coin Symbols onto the reels. If there is already a Bonus Collect Coin Symbol, it will add a Multiplier starting at 2X, and subsequent ones will add +1X.
Royal Coin Pile = Is only active during the Extra Bet and combines the Silver and Gold Coin Pile into one, so when one triggers, you will be awarded both bonuses.
Lock and Respin
Triggered when all 3 reels are covered in Fortune and Bonus Collect Coin Symbols, awarding you 3 spins where all Collect Coins become sticky. During the bonus game, no regular symbols can appear, allowing only Coin Symbols to land, and the spin counter will reset to 3 each time one lands.

Extra Bet
By turning on the Extra Bet, you combine the Silver and Gold Coin Piles into the Royal Fortune Coin Pile, but at the cost of increasing your current bet by 50%.
Final Thoughts on Fortune Coins 2
Fortune Coins 2 is another drop in the bucket of simple, Coin-centric releases from TaDa Gaming, and at some point, it might just be a bit too much. Not to say all of these are bad releases, just that we kinda want to see something more than just a mix of Fruit symbols and Coins on a red background, since it feels kinda lazy. In the case of Fortune Coins 2, it’s at least marginally better than its prequel, thanks to actually adding something new in the form of Coin Piles and changing around the stats, such as upgrading the max win from 3,000X to 10,000X the bet.
Moving on to gameplay, even with a new feature to play around with, the loop is still pretty much the same, being bogged down to spin for paylines or Coin Collections. While the new Coin Piles add an extra layer to the spins, they often don’t feel very impactful and can even be quite forgettable, except for the Royal Coin Pile, however, that one is locked behind the Extra Bet mechanic. But, at the end of the day, Fortune Coins 2 is just not a very interesting game, and sadly delivers the exact same type of spins that we’ve done for decades. While it’s slightly better than its prequel, Fortune Coins 2 still suffers from a lack of innovation that might not make it last in the long run.
Fortune Coins 2 is a Fruit slot that’s all about Coin Collecting, be it Cash or Jackpot prizes, in a simple format.
