This comes together to a rather lacking base game, but where the excitement can be found in the bonus game, where all features are out in full force, and where you can hit the max win of 10,000X the bet.

When you start up the game, you are taken through a mystical, futuristic portal, where you end up underneath a tomb, where the playing grid and mystical runs can be found. However, even with the futuristic, mysterious setting, the soundtrack still sounds like the typical Ancient-Egyptian song you would hear in just about any other release. At the start of the feature, you get a spin on the Destiny Wheel, which determines the number of spins awarded. During the Eye Strike bonus game, only Multiplier, Cash, Strike, Collect, Retrigger, and Collect/Retrigger Symbols may appear, alongside blanks, and the maximum Cash Multiplier increases to 20X, with no resets.
Extra Bet
By turning on the Extra Bet feature, you remove all regular paying symbols from the reels, leaving only Scatter, Collecting, Cash, Strike, and Multiplier Symbols to appear in the base game, but at the cost of increasing your bet by 2X.
Final Thoughts on Eye Strike
Eye Strike delivers on a bit of an unoriginal theme, with a typical Ancient Egyptian setting mixed with mystic Sci-Fi elements, which, at this point, we aren’t all too surprised coming out of TaDa Gaming. The studio has long relied on safe, tried-and-tested formulas in its games, especially when it comes to themes, not daring to step out of the comfort zones of fish, coins, buffalo, leprechauns, Jokers, and more for all too long. While it may look a bit visually interesting, as there are a lot of small details that we actually quite like, Eye Strike just doesn’t do enough to really leave a mark or a lasting impression for us.
When discussing gameplay, the Cash Collect mechanic is the core of it all. While it may look like there’s a bunch of features going on just from visuals alone, actually playing it is a whole other story. As paylines are rather lacking across the board, the Cash and Collect needs to offset it, and it does so, as seen with the games 97% RTP. In the base game, spins are all about Cash and Strike Symbols, which, while being able to be boosted through the Multiplier Meter, aren’t that consistent and just reset once you hit. It all comes down to the titular Eye Strike bonus game, which is just a glorified Free Spins feature with all regular paying symbols gone, which might just be for the best. This is, for the most part, the game’s high point, where the features are in full force, but even then, it only leaves us disappointed.
Eye Strike already had a problem with keeping us spinning during the base game, and when its hyped up bonus game doesn’t really change much, we don’t exactly have the best of hopes to continue the session. All in all, the game is rather plain and fails to engage us, as its features don’t mesh well.
Eye Strike is a slot centered around its many Cash Collect Special Symbols, but it doesn’t deliver on an interesting or original enough game to feel worth checking out.
