Introduction to Cred
Cred is a casino slot from Wicked Games that is a bit of a love letter and a parody of rap culture, specifically the rap group N.W.A. When you start the game, you meet a man who dreams of hitting it big as a rapper, and this person, of course, is a reference to Snoop Dogg, but he isn’t the focus of Cred. We meet four artists, being parody versions of Easy-E, Tupac, Ice Cube, and The Notorious B.I.G., who find themselves in a basement recording studio with graffiti that hints at what to expect. We’re talking about none other than the “Just Another Book Game” text on the wall, which is exactly what Cred it, a “Book of” genre type of game, which has been popular ever since Book of Ra in 2005. While still based around its Special Expanding Symbols, Cred adds a little flair with Golden Record Symbols and their xBet Prizes, which can go up to 1,000X the bet, and alongside its dope theme, there’s a lot of difference from its Ancient Egyptian predecessors.
Experience hip hop in an over-the-top comedic parody slot format, where Expanding Symbols come with Scatter Pay for consistent payouts. If you want to try out the game for yourself, be sure to give the Cred demo a few test spins.

Theme, Gameplay, & Payouts
Cred is a video slot from Wicked Games with 5 Reels, 3 Rows, and 10 Paylines. You can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.1 and a Max.bet of 200. Cred comes with an average RTP of 96.12%, high volatility, and a solid max win of 10,000X the bet.
The game is set in a small, rather poor, studio, where the soon-to-blow-up rap group started recording. Around the room are various graffiti and items, such as the huge bucket of chicken that references the studio’s previous release, Big Black Cock. You can play the game on most notepads, mobiles, and desktops.
The lower-paying symbols are a spray can, rolled up cash, a grinder, a golden hat, and a gun. Creating a win with 5 of the same symbols will pay out 8X to 12X the bet. The higher-paying symbols are the aforementioned references to rappers, including Hard D, Chill Block, 6 Pack, and Lil Massive. Landing a win with 5 of the same symbols pays out 60X to 500X the bet.

240X = Awards the Super Expanding Free Spins bonus game, starting with 10 spins and at least 3 Special Expanding Symbols.
Final Thoughts on Cred
Cred is part of a pretty good streak of releases that is helping the relatively small studio Wicked Games gain some street cred, including other games such as their melanin-rooster-themed release, Big Black Cock, recreational drug-loving rabbits in Overdose, and your local pub as seen in Last Call. There’s no denying that Wicked Games like their crass, slightly naughty, and dirty releases, as they take quite a lot of inspiration from Nolimit City, but we can’t fault them, as these games are among some of the best they’ve released. Cred, in comparison, isn’t as dirty, but still doesn’t take itself too seriously, and just hits a really good middle ground of its serious theme and comedic parody elements.
Gameplay-wise, Cred is based on a decades-old formula and doesn’t do much to really change up the gameplay, but we’re kinda used to it, as the genre isn’t the most innovative. On that same note, Cred reminds us quite a lot of the 2012 release Magic Mirror Deluxe 2, where each retrigger adds an additional Special Expanding Symbol on top of the extra spins for even more explosive volatility. This is for a good reason, as Magic Mirror Deluxe 2 has been a fan-favorite for many for almost fifteen years, and Wicked Games builds on that with its own great theme, fun graphics, and the newly added Golden Record Symbols. These symbols, while they can be rather rare, are the golden goose that everyone wants, as xBet prizes, while having been a bit lackluster in previous releases, actually fit perfectly in, especially as Special Expanding Symbols. All in all, Cred is a great casino experience and a callback to rap culture, with fun spins and volatile features; however, we do need to note that the features aren’t exactly new or innovative.
Cred is a rap-themed slot game that takes us back to the 90s and the golden age of rap, which is almost when the “Book of” genre that the game is based on was just getting started.
