In this holiday edition from Octoplay, banker pigs go on a well-deserved Christmas break. However, don’t worry, there are still big wins to be made, thanks to Jackpots and a three multiplier Collector Symbols. Regarding the design, it features a basic Christmas setting, where a snowy landscape and jolly soundtrack create a decent holiday spirit.
In terms of gameplay, it's very similar to previous releases in the Break the Bank series in both stats and features. So what makes this Christmas edition stand out? The only difference we could find was the Multiplier Collector Symbols during the Hold & Win feature, carrying a value of 2X or 3X. These multipliers apply their value to all Cash Symbols they collect, creating solid win potential. Otherwise, the gameplay is the same, where a helpful Wild Symbol can land during the Base Game, and Jackpots make things enjoyable during the Bonus Game.
I have reviewed numerous Octoplay games over the years and seen many Hold & Win releases. The Break the Bank series is hardly my favorite game from the provider, but with that said, it always offers a twist on the Hold & Win feature. This time, we encounter a Collector Multiplier, which can result in a substantial boost to Jackpots and Cash Symbols. However, did we want a Christmas edition of this game? Not really, but we’d love to see another edition of Eternal Clash or perhaps Shaolin Panda Chaos Reels.
