Introduction to Bling Blitz Diamond Drop

Bling Blitz Diamond Drop is a casino slot from BGaming that blends traditional iGaming mechanics with modern twists. Right out of the game, this isn’t just a typical 3x3, simple release with no features, as BGaming has somehow packed this game full of bonuses, Coins Prizes, Jackpots, and bonus games. Earlier this year, only a few months before this release, we saw the launch of Jewel Boom Super Drop, which is somewhat of a prequel to Bling Blitz Diamond Drop and the foundation it was built on. This can be quite easy to see with the game’s main gameplay loop of Coins, Collectors, and Super Spins, with Multipliers and never-ending spins, at least if you continue hitting wins. On top of this, we have the new additions in the form of the Diamond Bonuses, acting as a 3 Pot mechanic with 3 types of bonus games, ranging from Jackpot, Colossal, and Hold ‘N’ Win Spins, that can be triggered together for a volatile mess that can reach the max win of 3,000X the bet.

Experience a game that might look like an old-school classic, that’s secretly packed with bonus games and features. If your interest has been piqued, then check out the Bling Blitz Diamond Drop demo for a few spins.

The base game is filled with Coin Symbols and no paylines, but with Collectors that can lead to Superspins

Theme, Gameplay, & Payouts

Bling Blitz Diamond Drop is a video slot from Hacksaw Gaming with 3 Reels, 3 Rows, and 1 Paylines. You can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.2 and a Max.bet of 260. Bling Blitz Diamond Drop comes with an average RTP of 96%, a hit frequency of 38.91%medium volatility, where wins can hit rather frequently with smooth payouts, and you might even reach the max win of 3,000X the bet.

There sadly isn’t much to say about the theme or visuals, as the game comes with a nearly fully black background with some confetti, and a gold-encased playing grid as the eyecatcher. With this comes a typical Vegas soundtrack and old-school sound effects to nail home the vibes. You can play the game on most notepads, mobiles, and desktops.

The game comes with no traditional pay symbols; instead, it uses Coin Symbols, with cash values ranging from 0.1X to 10X the bet, and they must land on the center payline. Coin Symbols are instant payout symbols, meaning they will award their win as soon as they hit on a winning line. However, the game comes with many Special Symbols to trigger various features, such as Collectors, Multipliers, and Diamond Symbols, but more on those in the next section.

Coin Symbols

Coin Symbols can land on all reels, and contain instant wins ranging from 0.1X to 10X the current bet.

Super Spin Collectors

Collector Symbols come in 3 variants and can only appear on reel 2, with a random Multiplier ranging from 2X to 100X. Collector Symbols will also trigger a Super Spin, with Bronze, Silver, and Gold Collectors awarding 1, 2, and 3 spins. All Super Spins will be multiplied by the current Collector Multiplier, and a spin will continue until no more wins are being made.

Multipliers

Multiplier Symbols show up on reels 1 and 3 during the Super Spins, with values up to 100X, which will be added to the current Collector Multiplier value.

Diamond Bonuses

3 colored chests sit on top of the playing grid, which can randomly be opened by landing the corresponding colored Diamond Symbol. These Diamond Chest Bonuses include:

Blue Diamond Symbol = Triggers Jackpot Spins, changes the reels into Jackpots on reels 1 and 3, with a Collector on reel 2, where you need to line up two of the same Jackpots with a Collector to win the respective prize.

Red Diamond Symbol = Triggers Colossal Spins, starting with 12 spins and reels filled with Coin Symbols, which can land as 3x3 Colossal symbols with values ranging from 1X to 100X the bet.

Green Diamond Symbol = Triggers Hold ‘N’ Win Spins, starting with 3 spins, which will continue as long as new Coin Symbols land on the reels. There is also a Bonus Space, starting with a 2X Multiplier, that will move around each time a new Coin lands on it, increasing its Multiplier by +1X in the process. If all positions are filled, the last empty spot will land with a Collector Symbol, which will remove all Coin Symbols on the playing grid for more room to spin, while sticking itself to the grid. The bonus game ends when the spin counter hits 0 or all positions have been filled with Collector Symbols.

Final Thoughts on Bling Blitz Diamond Drop

When we first checked out the prequel, Jewel Boom Super Drop, we said it was a user-friendly, uncomplicated game with unusual payout mechanics, which lacked captivating gameplay and theme. The sequel, Bling Blitz Diamond Drop, is just about the same on nearly all fronts, as the game looks and plays almost identically. But maybe that’s not all too bad, as BGaming set out to build on a game that needed some extra polishing, but let us discuss if that was actually enough in the gameplay section.

Starting with was already present in the prequel, that being the Coin, Collector, and Super Spin gameplay loop, which was, to be fully honest, not that great, and hasn’t really seen any changes to make it all that more interesting. The biggest change they added was to create the Diamond Bonuses, as in the previous game, the Diamond had a random chance to award one of the Jackpots, but now it has been split into a 3 Pot mechanic. While this change tried to give the game a bit more depth and engaging features, the bonuses still feel a bit lacking, such as with the Jackpot Spins being a glorified Respin-until-you-win feature. On the other hand, the other two Diamond Bonuses, the Colossal and Hold ‘N’ Win Spins, are a bit too similar to each other, with one having bigger symbols and the other having potential retriggers. All in all, Bling Blitz Diamond Drop tries to upgrade its prequel, but does not build on the already lacking features, and only adds a 3 Pot mechanic in the hope that it will be enough. For some players, it might just click as the perfect sequel, while for others, like us, it only leaves us disappointed.

Bling Blitz Diamond Party is a slot that tries to be the savior-sequel that Jewel Boom Super Drop needed, with a new added 3 Pot mechanic.
