Introduction to Blazing Bullets: Hold and Win
Blazing Bullets: Hold and Win is a casino slot from Booming Games with a Wild West theme. This isn’t the first time we’ve visited the American Frontier with Booming Games, reminding us of previous titles such as Bang Bang Reloaded. Here, we are offered Free Spins with Expanding Wilds, a Hold and Win feature, Jackpots, and the Blazing Bullets Bonus. Even though we enjoy the usual Booming Games charm, we’ve seen most of it before, leaving little room for innovative surprises. It adds a decent edition to the studio’s Wild West portfolio, but with recycled gameplay, it doesn’t match our expectations.

Theme, Gameplay, & Payouts
Blazing Bullets: Hold and Win is a video slot by Booming Games that features 5 reels, 3 rows, and 10 paylines. You can select bet sizes ranging from 0.1 to 50, with a default RTP of 95.8%. This game has low volatility and offers potential wins of up to 2,300X your bet.
The game’s design is based on a Wild West theme, featuring a 5x3 game grid in the middle of the screen. Above the reels, you’ll see the Free Spins and Hold & Win Chests, which will collect all Scatter and Coin Symbols, randomly triggering the corresponding Bonus Game. If you want to boost the gaming experience for a cost, activate the Feature Buy or Boost+ buttons. All other buttons, including the Spin and Bet Size, can be found below the reels. You can play Blazing Bullets: Hold and Win on all mobile devices, desktops, and tablets. You create a winning combination by landing 3 or more of the same symbol types on adjacent reels starting at the leftmost reel.
The lower-paying symbols are 10, J, Q, K, and A. Landing 5 of the same symbol type pays between 1X and 2X. The higher-paying symbols are boots, a pistol, a female gunslinger, and a male gunslinger. Landing 5 of the same symbol type pays between 4.5X and 10X. Landing 2 of the gunslinger symbols pays 0.5X the bet.
The game’s Wild Symbol has the design of a sheriff, and can appear as an Expanding Wild, covering the entire reel. The Scatter Symbol is the sheriff’s badge, and landing 3 or more Scatter Symbols will trigger the Free Spins. The Coin Symbol is a golden coin with values ranging from 1X to 15X the bet. It can also land on the reels as one of the game’s Jackpots, awarding up to 250X the bet. Landing 6 or more Coin Symbols will trigger the Hold and Win feature. Let’s find out what kind of features this game has to offer.

Wild Symbol
The Wild Symbol substitutes all symbols except the Scatter, Coin, and Bullet Symbol and helps you create winning combinations. It can appear as an Expanding Symbol that covers the entire reel.
Chest Feature
The Free Spins and Hold & Win chests are displayed above the reels. The Free Spins chest collects all Scatter Symbols that land in view, with a random chance of triggering the corresponding Free Spins feature. The Hold & Win chest collects all Coin Symbols that land on the reels, for a chance to trigger the Hold & Win.
Free Spins
This feature can be triggered by landing 3 or more Scatter Symbols or via the Chest Feature during the Base Game. Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatter Symbols awards 6, 8, or 10 Free Spins. You can retrigger the feature by landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatter Symbols, granting +2, +4, or +6 additional Free Spins.
During the feature, all Wild Symbols expand to cover the entire reel. A maximum of 4 Wild Symbols can land in one spin.

During the feature, Coin Symbols can land in groups of 2, 3, or 4 symbols. Only blanks, Coin, and Bullet Symbols can land during the feature. Whenever a Coin or Blazing Bullet Symbol lands in view, they are locked in place, and the respins are reset to 3 again. It can also land as the Mini, Minor, and Major Jackpot, awarding 20X, 50X, or 250X the bet, respectively. The Grand Jackpot of 1,000X the bet can only be awarded if you fill the entire game grid with Coin Symbols.
At the end of the feature, if a Blazing Bullet Symbol is locked on the reels, it will trigger the Blazing Bullet Feature. During this extra feature, you are presented with a special reel set with 8 empty individual positions (gun barrel). It starts with 3 respins, and only blanks and Coin Symbols can appear on this special reel. Whenever a Coin Symbol appears, the respins are reset to 3, and the Coin Symbol gets locked. The Coin and Jackpot values are the same as in the Hold & Win feature, and when the feature ends, their total value is added to the Hold & Win feature’s value.
Boost+
You trigger the Boost+ at the extra cost of 50% of the current bet. Once this feature is activated, the chances of triggering Bonus Games increase.

Feature Buy
If you want to take advantage of the Bonus Game immediately, you can use the Feature Buy options:
75X = Activate either the Free Spins or the Hold & Win feature.
100X = Activate the Free Spins and the Hold and Win feature.
Final Thoughts on Blazing Bullets: Hold and Win
Draw your gun and get ready for this Wild West adventure by Booming Games. The studio continues its streak of releasing charming, well-produced slots, inviting us to the American Frontier. Although we enjoy the fun vibe, the theme is rather generic and lacks a backstory, meaning it will have a hard time standing out from similar releases in the genre.
In terms of gameplay, it offers a familiar mix of features, including Free Spins with Expanding Wilds, a Hold and Win feature, and the Blazing Bullets Bonus. While the combination of features adds some variety, none of the mechanics feel fresh or innovative. The gameplay follows a recycled formula we’ve encountered in plenty of other Hold and Win slots from Booming Games, resulting in a decent slot experience, but it lacks an innovative touch to create interest. Overall, the varied gameplay and Wild West theme might draw an audience, but the recycled mechanics and lack of originality leave a lot to be desired. If you want more Wild West slots, we recommend Le Cowboy and Tombstone: No Mercy.
Blazing Bullets: Hold and Win is a slot that offers variety, but lacks innovative elements to stand out in a crowded Wild West genre.
