Introduction to Big Bass Blast
Big Bass Blast is a casino slot from Reel Kingdom that takes you on a high-voltage fishing adventure. Reel Kingdom, in partnership with Pragmatic Play, has turned the Big Bass series into one of the industry’s most successful and recognizable series. It all started with Big Bass Bonanza in 2020, followed by countless games carrying the detectable “collection mechanic” and progressive trail during the Bonus Game. Here, we get an unusual electricity twist on the familiar fishing theme, mixing sparks and blasts with a day on the lake. In terms of gameplay, the provider has included a Cash Collect feature during the Base Game, which can be boosted with multipliers up to 10X, supercharging the win potential from the first spin. The studio has altered the game’s balance, amplifying the Base Game while toning down the Free Spins win potential through fewer spins and a dialed-back progressive trail.

Theme, Gameplay, & Payouts
Big Bass Blast is a video slot by Reel Kingdom that features 5 reels, 3 rows, and 10 paylines. You can select bet sizes ranging from 0.1 to 240, with a default RTP of 96.50%. However, operators can also choose to use one of the lower ones, such as 95.50% or 94.50%. This game has high volatility and a hit frequency of 10.64%, offering potential wins of up to 5,000X your bet. On average, it takes 59.1 spins to activate the bonus game and 24,282,976 spins to land the maximum win. Lastly, landing wins bigger than 1000X average 1 in 331,187 spins.
The game’s design is based on the same fishing theme we’ve seen from previous Big Bass releases. However, this time we get an electrifying twist, where the 5x3 game grid is divided and surrounded by bolts of energy. If you want to boost the gaming experience for a cost, activate the Feature Buy and Ante Bet button on the left side. All other buttons, including the Spin and Bet Size, can be found below the reels. You can play Big Bass Blast on all mobile devices, desktops, and notepads. You create a winning combination by landing 3 or more of the same symbol types on adjacent reels starting at the leftmost reel.
The lower-paying symbols are 10, J, Q, K, and A. Landing 5 of the same symbol type pays between 5X and 10X. The higher-paying symbols are a fishing box, a rod, a dragonfly, and bait. Landing 5 of the same symbol type pays between 50X and 200X. Landing 2 of the bait pays 0.5X the bet.
The game’s Wild Symbol has the design of the fisherman and can appear on reels 1 and 5, collecting all Money Symbols (Fish) with values ranging from 0.5X to 500X the bet. The Scatter Symbol is the image of a jumping fish with the text “Scatter”. Landing 3 or more of the Scatter Symbols will trigger the Bonus Game. Let’s find out what kind of features this game has to offer.
Special Features & Slot Mechanics

The max win is 5,000X the bet.
What features are available in the slot of Big Bass Blast?
The features of this slot game are Wild Symbol & Cash Collect, Free Spins, Ante Bet, and Feature Buy.

Wild Symbol & Cash Collect
The Wild Symbol substitutes all symbols except the Scatter Symbol and helps you create winning combinations. It can only land on reels 1 and 5, and works as a Collect Symbol, collecting all Money Symbols in view.
The Money Symbols (Fish) can have a value of 0.5X, 1X, 1.5X, 2X, 3X, 5X, 10X, 25X, 100X, 250X, or 500X the bet.
During the Base Game, the Wild Symbol can land with a multiplier of 2X, 3X, or 10X, which is applied to all Money Symbols it collects. If several Wild Multipliers are part of the same win, their values are added together before being applied.
Free Spins
This feature can be triggered by landing 3 or more Scatter Symbols anywhere on the reels during the Base Game. Depending on whether you land 3, 4, or 5 Scatter Symbols, you will be awarded 5, 7, or 9 Free Spins, respectively.
During this feature, all landed Fisherman Wilds are collected on a trail positioned above the reel. Every 7th collected Wild Fisherman retriggers the feature with an additional +5 Free Spins. The Fisherman Wild also collects and awards all Money Symbol values that land simultaneously in view.
7 Wild Fisherman collected = Awards +5 additional Free Spins + 2X Multiplier for all collected Money Symbols.
14 Wild Fisherman collected = Awards +5 additional Free Spins + 3X Multiplier for all collected Money Symbols.
21 Wild Fisherman collected = Awards +5 additional Free Spins + 10X Multiplier for all collected Money Symbols. After this level, the feature cannot be retriggered anymore.
Lastly, if a Wild Fisherman is present but no Money Symbols, a random number of Money Symbols can be added to the reels. Also, both Wild and Money Symbols can be randomly added to the reels, triggering a collection.
Ante Bet
You trigger the Ante Bet at an extra cost of 50% of the current bet. When this feature is activated, the chances of triggering the Bonus Game increase. When activated, you play the game with an RTP of 96.51%.

Feature Buy
If you want to take advantage of the Bonus Games immediately, you can use the Feature Buy option.
100X = Activate the Free Spins with an RTP of 96.50%.
Final Thoughts on Big Bass Blast
Welcome to another installment of Reel Kingdom’s long-running Big Bass series, following a familiar formula with a twist. Starting with the design, it offers a rare electric twist on a fishing theme, without any backstory or explanation. Has Reel Kingdom finally run out of ideas? However, with its high-tempo environment and familiar look, the unusual visuals shouldn’t be an obstacle for fans of the series. Considering how recognizable the series is, we would love to see an “origin story” revealing the true identity of the Fisherman and adding to the game’s lore, rather than just releasing an identical look with minor tweaks.
So, what makes this new edition stand out? Here, we get a Collect Feature directly from the first spin, boosting the win potential in the Base Game compared to the usual Big Bass mechanics. The collecting Wild Symbol can also land with a multiplier value ranging from 2X to 10X, which was the reason behind some good wins while we tested the game. It’s clear that the studio has changed the balance between the Base and Bonus Game, adding more payout power to the Base Game, while toning down the Free Spins with fewer spins and a less potent progressive trail. Usually, it takes 4 collected Wild Fishermen to upgrade the feature, but in Big Bass Blast, it takes 7, making it more challenging to collect big payouts.
Overall, the electric fishing theme feels out of place, adding to the fact that the series has run out of design ideas. In terms of gameplay, we were happily surprised by the added Cash Collect mechanic + Multipliers during the Base Game. This makes the normal spins feel less like a waiting room and significantly more powerful than in previous releases in the series. But at the same time, the studio has toned down the usual strong Free Spins, creating a new balance to a familiar formula while maintaining the same total win potential as before. If you want more Big Bass, we recommend Big Bass Trophy Catch or Big Bass Floats My Boat.
Big Bass Blast is a slot with a supercharged Base Game, but it does very little to stand out from previous releases in the series.
