Introduction to 3 Piggies of Bank
3 Piggies of Bank is a casino slot from Yggdrasil, themed around the fairy tale, the 3 Little Pigs. While the slot industry is no stranger to creating themes from just about anything, fairy tales, old legends, and myths are quite typical settings, and the 3 Little Pigs is no exception, having been the main characters in their own releases for years, with arguably the most prominent example being Light & Wonder’s Huff N’ Puff series. So, when it comes to Yggdrasil’s time to deliver on their own version, they decide to go with another pig-themed idea, that being piggy banks, where the 3 Little Pigs are now proper businessmen, running their own banks from the safety of their home. Gameplay-wise, each piggy represents a different Bonus Upgrade for the Hold & Win-like bonus game, and the game centers around these 3-Pot bonus mechanics. These bonuses include additional Collect Payouts, Multipliers, and Mystery Prizes, to help you collect as many Wolf Coins and Jackpots as possible. Coupled with this are two simple features in the form of Expanding Multiplier Wilds and a Free Spin feature, neither of which leaves much of an impression, but they’re not necessarily needed in your hunt for the max win of 5,625X the bet.
Yggdrasil delivers on a children’s fairy tale themed release, but the little piggies have no grown-up, working as bankers and bonus upgrades for the Hold & Win Coin bonus game.

Theme, Gameplay, & Payouts
3 Piggies of Bank is a video slot from Yggdrasil with 5 Reels, 3 Rows, and 25 Paylines. You can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.1 and a Max.bet of 20. 3 Piggies of Bank come with a lower-than-average RTP of 94%, a hit frequency of 25.2%, low volatility, and an okay max win of 5,625X the bet.
The game starts out in nature, out by some woods where the pigs like to build just about anything, however, as soon as one of the bonus games triggers, we find ourselves inside one of their many golden banks. Alongside the titular 3 Piggies, we are also met by the Wolf, with his own face on a Coin, and Mamma Pig, who acts as the game’s Expanding Wild Symbol. You can play the game on most notepads, mobiles, and desktops.
The lower-paying symbols are a purple spade, a blue clover, a green diamond, and a red heart. Landing a win with 5 of the same symbols will pay out 2X the bet. The higher-paying symbols are a stack of cash, silver bars, golden bars, and a vault. Landing a win with 5 of the same symbols pays out 6X to 15X the bet. We also have quite a few Special Symbols, including Wilds, Piggy Coins, Wolf Coins, and Scatter Symbols, but more on these in the next section.

Final Thoughts on 3 Piggies of Bank
3 Piggies of Bank, even with its grammatically strange name, does make a bit of sense when it comes to its mix of themes, at least when it comes to slots, as both the 3 Little Pigs and Piggy Bank themes have come a long way, especially in the last few years. Yggdrasil delivers a vibrant, clean game, which stands out a bit as we’re more used to seeing construction equipment than beautiful forests in these themes. However, while pretty and colorful, it is a bit bland, even when the bonus game triggers and we enter the bank, which seems to be built entirely of marble, perhaps to avert the huffing and puffing from the big bad wolf, but even if that were the case, it’s not the most visually interesting game we’ve played.
When it comes to gameplay, the Lock’Em & Load’Em bonus game is at the forefront, as there aren’t really any other interesting mechanics outside of it. While we don’t want to just skip over the Free Spins, there’s sadly not a lot to speak of, as it doesn’t come with any bonuses and acts just like regular base game spins. However, when it comes to the actual Lock’Em & Load’Em bonus game, for being the star of the show, it doesn’t exactly come with the most complex or engaging enough bonuses to really keep us hooked. We’ve seen similar Hold & Win-like bonus games before, even with similar 3-Pot bonuses, and many of those games even did it better than Yggdrasil does here. So, at the end of the day, while we don’t think it’s the most interesting release we’ve played, 3 Piggies of Bank is a rather casual and enjoyable slot experience, hence the low volatility, but it can still offer a few volatile spins thanks to its Jackpot Prizes. While we don’t think it will be a hit with all players, and might even dissuade some thanks to its rather low stats, we definitely think this game can find an audience that much more prefers this type of easygoing gameplay loop.
3 Piggies of Bank is Yggdrasil’s attempt at throwing their hat in the 3 Little Pigs themed ring, with a few rather simple, yet enjoyable 3-Pot bonus upgrades for its Lock’Em & Load’Em Coin bonus game.
