Who Is Quickspin?
Quickspin was founded in 2011 in Sweden and is the creation of three entrepreneurs: Daniel Lindberg, Joachim Timmermans, and Mats Westerlund who wanted to shake things up a bit by creating slots they felt were missing in the market. Two co-founders had previously worked at Swedish game developer NetEnt, while the other had worked at Unibet.
Today the company comprises a team of over 100 employees in Sweden, Malta, and Kyiv, all of which help deliver nice gaming experiences with their expertise. Furthermore, over the years, Quickspin as a company has scooped up various awards, including at the EGR B2B Awards, where they won multiple awards, including Employer of the Year in 2023. On top of that, their Head of Marketing, Linn Lange, won Inspiration of the Year at the Women in Gaming.
In 2016, it became a part of the Playtech group, with whom they have collaborated a lot over the years. They have built the Adventures Beyond Wonderland Magical Maze based on Playtech’s live game, Adventures Beyond Wonderland, and collaborated on Quickspins' first live game, Big Bad Wolf Live. On top of that, the development of their game Brawlers Bar Cash Collect utilizes the Cash Collect mechanic from the Playtech Origins studio.
