Another beautifully designed, graphics-oriented offering from Yggdrasil Gaming, Double Dragons is a gamer's delight. In addition it has excellent mini animations and sections within the gameplay to excite any slot machine player. Set on a somewhat foreboding looking background, the reels of Double Dragons are red and blue within what looks like a gothic style design. The fiery looking background is lighter on one side and darker on the other, with vague mountainous outlines visible behind.

Double Dragons is a five reel slot with twenty paylines on offer. The ominous ambience already created when entering the game is only heightened by the theme's symbols. The low values are simply brightly coloured suit symbols, but the higher ones are displayed with glaring dragon eyes in various hues. Even without the extras, this game offers big wins to players in the simple base game, as it offers up stacked and cascading wilds. Stacked wilds turn up on all five reels. Cascading wilds simply explode the reels so that more symbols will drop down from above, thus creating more winning opportunities.

The big draw, though, is still the Double Dragons feature. This is triggered by getting four consecutive wins in the base game. This releases the two aforementioned dragons onto the reels. These two icons form more stacked wilds and can number up to as many as 28 at one time. Obviously this provides players with some huge winning opportunities.
