The 2021 editions of the Global Gaming Awards have ended on the 28th of June. In London, 50 CEOs of the igaming sector gathered with journalists and experts to award prizes to the real stars of the event: the games of the betting sector and the best online casinos.

The event involves casinos from Europe,the Middle East and Africa and focuses, specifically, on online casinos, the real cornerstone of the competition.

Being able to reach the heights of these competitions and be among the finalists in the running for recognition at the Global Gaming Awards is certainly a source of pride for online gambling manufacturers.

Global Gaming Awards 2021: LeoVegas triumphs for the fourth consecutive year

The awarding of the prizes, in London, was held on June 28th, live online. During the awarding of the awards, there was also a notable reconfirmation: LeoVegas, in fact, won the title of "Online Casino of the Year" for the fourth consecutive year. LeoVegas is a Swedish portal that even over the last year has shown itself to stand out for the quality and safety of its contents: hence, the fourth award ceremony in a row. In second place, however, the Global Gaming Awards awarded 888 Casino and Mr. Green Casino, also very well known platforms.

Bet365 was awarded the Affiliate Program of the Year award, and Kambi the “Online Sports Betting Supplier of the Year” award.

Global Gaming Awards 2021: the other awards

The name that has established itself for the ”Online Casino Supplier of the Year” award is that of Evolution Gaming. This provider also stands out thanks to its products, and for having been at the forefront of investing in online casinos.

On the second spot, there is Pragmatic Play. The provider publishes new games on its portals every month: and as it keeps the quality of its entertainment high, this strategy is paying off. Finally, Yggdrasil also stood out in the same category of online casino software suppliers.

IGT also stands out for the category "Casino supplier of the Year", remaining a leader in the sector worldwide. Covid-19restrictions have also affected casinos, which therefore felt strongly and clearly the responsibility to reopen with the certainty of offering the customer the best possible experience. All this, of course, in compliance with safety and reliability regulations.

The competence of the Kindred Group is recognized in the“Social Responsibility” section, and the “Payment solution of the Year” award of2021 went to Trustly, for its Pay n’Play formula.

Global Gaming Awards 2021: the best games

Among the best games awarded in this edition of the Global Gaming Awards, the name of Red Tiger (winner of the Casino Product of the Year award), of the NetEntgroup, stands out. A new success for this group, which had already dominated last year thanks to Gonzo's Quest MegaWays, a particular variant of the slot machine with multiple reels and paylines.

In second place in the "Best Game of the Year" category is the game Adventures Beyond Wonderland, from the Playtech manufacturer. The game War of Bets, by Betgames.TV, closes the podium of this section of the gaming competition.

Still on the subject of NetEnt, this company also stood out in another category: first place for the "Product Lauch of the Year". This time around, the game is Divine Fortune Megaways. Next, in the same category, are Microgaming,with the game WowPot, and, in third place, GreenTube, with the game From Dusk Till Dawn 10. Among the finalists, WorldMatch deserves a mention, with its CandyBar.
