We’re happy that Games Global gave Stormcraft the chance to create this game. It is, in fact, the second Thunderstruck game that Stormcraft makes since they were responsible for Thunderstruck Wild Lightning last year. They did a great job so there’s no surprise that they were trusted with a sequel.

There are many great things about this game, but most of all, we have to give  Stormcraft big applause for the graphics and setting they’ve created. The symbols are sharp, as you’d expect from a modern game, but we love the animations from Thor and Thyra. It’s really top-notch and not what you’d demand from a small studio like Stormcraft, but we’ve learned what Games Global’s (previously Microgaming) partners can do before, so we were also not surprised. It’s also cool that they offer a playlist where you can pick and choose what music you want to listen to.

Moving on to the gameplay. The base game keeps you engaged with random Wildstorm features and multiplier symbols. This creates sort of a mini-version on the free spins feature on each spin, where potential is hiding around every corner. The free spins feature itself is not necessarily revolutionary. Sticky multipliers are one of the most commonly used features, but it’s all about how you implement it. In Thunderstruck Stormchaser, it feels refreshing, not borrowed.
